Costa Rica Yoga Snaps

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a lovely day so far. I’m back home in Vancouver for the next few weeks and am feeling super refreshed after spending the last couple of weeks in beautiful Costa Rica. 🙂 I didn’t get too many yoga sessions in while we were abroad, but that’s just because we spent so much time exploring and discovering the country. Costa Rica is an incredible place, magical really, and so full of love and positive energy. I plan on sharing lots with you over the next couple of weeks… But for now, I hope you enjoy some of my fave yoga snaps from Costa Rica! Sending lots of love! Have a beautiful week. 🙂 Molly xx Wearing: Tonic Active – use code “Molly20” for 20% off their site. __________ Feeling the oneness of yourself with all things is true love. – Eckhart Tolle

Exploring Whistler with Nita Lake Lodge

A couple weeks ago we spent some time at Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler. To be honest, I fell in love the second we stepped foot on the property. Okay… so that could have had something to do with the three overwhelmingly gorgeous golden retrievers sprawled out in the middle of the lobby! I can’t think of a more perfect welcome. 🙂  Since the hotel is pet friendly, they have many neighbourhood pups who hang out and greet people as they’re checking in, while their parents are enjoying a few cocktails at the lounge… So adorable!! <3 Nita Lake Lodge has a very relaxed, tranquil atmosphere. I felt like any tension I was carrying dissipated immediately, even just within the first few minutes of being there… I’m already dreaming of how lovely it will be to spend some time there in the summer. It’s actually the only hotel on a lake in Whistler, so it’s the place to be in the warmer months if you’re into kayaking and supping etc! Irek and I will for sure head back in July or August for a few nights. 🙂 We had some …

Why I love Vancouver

There are so many reasons why I love Vancouver. The people, the energy, the fresh mountain air, the fact that we have the largest coastal temperate rainforest in the world, the proximity to the Pacific Ocean… need I say more? That’s why it’s always such a pleasure when our friends visit and we have the opportunity to show them around, while at the same time renewing our love for this beautiful, lush province. Irek and I spent last week with fellow Travel Bloggers and Hawaii natives, Reid and Maryrose of Wanderlustyle Travel and Lifestyle Blog. They visited Canada for the first time with their globe trotting 10 year old son Landon (who happens to be the coolest, most relaxed kid I’ve met). We were also reunited with two very special people, Kim and Phil (Love Over Blood, The Vegan Artists Collective) who we first met in Bali last year… I loved them from the very first second. On their first full day in Vancouver, we headed to a few must-sees in the area: Capilano Suspension Bridge, Lighthouse Park, and The Cleveland Dam. The weather was exactly what you’d …

Finding Your Calm Through Meditation

In late 2016 I started to take my meditation practice much more seriously. Prior to this year, I was meditating sporadically and found myself struggling to adopt a routine that worked for me. But, after a few months of practice, I have now come to a place where I look forward to it each day and have come to cherish both the silence and profound understanding that meditation brings. As for the structure of my meditation routine, there isn’t really much to tell. I know myself well enough now to know that I don’t do too well with strict schedules or too much structure. So, sometimes I’ll mediate immediately following breakfast, and before heading to the yoga studio. And sometimes, I’ll meditate directly after my yoga practice, before heading back home. I allow myself to go with the flow and permit my schedule to vary from day to day, if necessary. This easy-going mindset has actually aided me when keeping up with my daily practice. I think it’s so important to understand that meditation gets easier over time and …

Cabo Pool Views

Recently, Irek and I spent a few days in Mexico at Hotel Marquis Los Cabos. It’s situated in the most beautiful location, with gorgeous, sweeping views of the coast. At night time, we left our balcony door wide open so we could hear the waves crashing aggressively, and with intention against the shoreline of the Pacific. The time will soon come where I’ll fall asleep to the sound of the waves breaking every night… and that for me, will be ultimate joy. I had some truly beautiful moments at Hotel Marquis, walking along the shore all alone, not a soul in sight. There is something to be said about the energy you feel when you’re close to the ocean. It’s electric really, but only if you allow it to wash over you. I feel most vulnerable when I’m walking alone along the coast, but vulnerable in the best way possible. It’s good for the soul and more healing than any medicine you could ever be prescribed. Thank you so much to Hotel Marquis for hosting …

One&Only Palmilla, Los Cabos

Over the past couple of years, Irek and I have traveled a fair bit, and have had the pleasure of visiting many beautiful hotels around the world. Most recently, we spent a few magical nights at One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico. We’ve been to Mexico a few times now, but never to the Pacific side, only the Caribbean, so we really didn’t know what to expect. To say that Cabo took our breath away would be an understatement; it’s truly something else. The first night we arrived, we were both speechless and fully prepared to soak in every moment of our time at One&Only. This hotel is without a doubt the most beautiful I’ve ever visited. Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, but it also has a very intimate, romantic vibe (1200 candles are lit every night all around the property!). It’s located on The Baja Peninsula, and has views of both the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. The hotel was built in 1956 by Don Abelardo Rodriguez, the son of the president, and started out …

My Top 3 Asanas for Stress Relief

We live in a very fast-paced, somewhat chaotic world… it’s so easy to become overwhelmed, stressed out, anxious, etc. The key is recognizing when you’re in these negative states and neutralizing them as quickly and calmly as possible. Therefore, I thought it may be helpful to share with you my top 3 asanas for stress relief. If I ever feel like I can’t catch my breath,  these are my go-to postures. I spend anywhere from 5 – 15 minutes in them. Puppy Pose The first posture is called Puppy Pose. Puppy is a great stretch for the shoulders and spine. Personally, when I’m in this pose I feel an overwhelming sense of surrender to the posture; this gives me the ability to let go of any tension or stress I may be carrying. If you’re a beginner, this posture may actually feel quite intense on the shoulders, so take it slow and only go as far as feels good. Savasana (with legs up the wall) The ultimate relaxation posture a.k.a. just lay there and do nothing. Stay in Savasana a minimum of …

We’re all Connected

It’s crazy to think that most of us go through our lives feeling totally disconnected and disempowered. We believe that life is just happening to us, and all we can do is react… But the truth is, we are all connected; connected to each other, to the planet, and to the endless, infinite energies that exist within this incredible universe. Once you’re able to break through and tap into this infinite energy (divine love if you will), you’ll experience life on a much deeper level… your days will start to have meaning, and purpose. You’ll realize that you are the co-creator of your life and that you have the power. I urge you to take care this year… Meditate and do yoga as much as possible, nourish yourself with plant-based foods, take care of your physical body, and most importantly, treat others with kindness and compassion (including our animal friends). Remember that you can manifest anything you want… we all can; we’re all connected. Namaste, Molly xx Don’t forget to sign up for #TheNamasteChallenge with me! Head to …

Infinite Prosperity Ball + Yacht 2016

Seeing as this will be my very last post of 2016, I thought it fitting to share some photos from The Infinite Prosperity Ball + Yacht 2016… We met some truly incredible people, all on their own individual journeys, conquering fears and becoming the best versions of themselves they possibly can. Some think Infinite Prosperity is solely a trading education company… but it’s not, it’s so much more than that. It’s a movement and it’s powerful. Amy and Lewis cultivated the most inspiring community of entrepreneurs, traders, dreamers, believers, and the list goes on… I’m honoured and humbled to be surrounded by so many extraordinary individuals. Thank you so much to everyone who made our experience in Australia so memorable. Irek and I are so excited for next year! Lastly, I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who visited and supported my blog this year… It’s been an amazing 9 months, and I really hope you’ve enjoyed the content. Can’t wait to share more of my journey in 2017 with you. Happy new year! Lots of love 🙂 Cheers, Molly xx …
