Abundance; It’s All Perspective

Good morning! ūüôā I just wanted to share a little bit about my thoughts on abundance… I recently finished reading “A New Earth” by Eckhart Tolle and something he said about abundance really resonated with me. He said that anytime you’re feeling like you’re living from a place of scarcity, go outside and immerse yourself in nature. Observe abundance all around you… Observe the abundance of greenery, the vast blue sky overhead, the sand between your toes, the trees, the sun, insects, whatever it is. Nature is abundant- it is lacking nothing, and neither are you. This simple practice is something I’ve implemented everyday of my life since reading that chapter of “A New Earth”. And let me tell you, it works, it really does. Anytime I’m feeling down or a bit off, I simply take a walk, and I observe everything… Every bird flying overhead, every leaf swaying in the wind, every child laughing with innocence and grace.¬†It’s all perspective. Our whole world is shaped by what we choose to believe is true. So, …

My Top 3 Asanas for Stress Relief

We live in a very fast-paced, somewhat chaotic world… it’s so easy to become overwhelmed,¬†stressed out, anxious, etc. The key is recognizing when you’re in these negative states and¬†neutralizing them as quickly and calmly as possible. Therefore,¬†I thought it may be helpful to share with you¬†my top 3 asanas for stress relief. If I ever feel like I can’t catch my breath, ¬†these are my go-to postures. I spend anywhere from 5 – 15 minutes in them. Puppy Pose The first posture is called Puppy Pose. Puppy is a great stretch for the shoulders and spine. Personally, when I‚Äôm in this pose I feel an overwhelming sense¬†of surrender to the posture; this gives me the ability to let go of any tension or stress I may be carrying. If you‚Äôre a beginner, this posture may actually feel quite¬†intense on the shoulders, so take it slow and only go as far as feels good. Savasana (with legs up the wall) The ultimate relaxation posture a.k.a. just¬†lay there and do nothing. Stay in Savasana a minimum of …

We’re all Connected

It’s crazy to think that most of us go through our lives feeling totally disconnected and disempowered. We believe that life is just happening to us, and all we can do is react… But the truth is, we are all connected; connected to each other, to the planet, and to the endless, infinite energies that exist within this incredible universe. Once you’re able to break through and tap into this infinite energy (divine love if you will), you’ll experience life on a much deeper level…¬†your days will start to have meaning, and purpose. You’ll realize that you are the co-creator of your life and that you have the power. I urge you to take care this year… Meditate and do yoga as much as possible, nourish yourself with plant-based foods, take care of your physical body, and most importantly, treat others with kindness and compassion (including our animal friends). Remember that you can manifest anything you want… we all can; we’re all connected. Namaste, Molly xx Don’t forget to sign up for¬†#TheNamasteChallenge¬†with me! Head to …

Bali Yoga Snaps

My most inspired yoga sessions happen when I’m abroad. I believe it has a lot to do with the fact that I’m in a constant state of gratitude and appreciation. That state¬†naturally lends itself to all aspects of life becoming brighter and more colourful. However, the Bali heat definitely challenged me. I forgot how hot and humid it was and had to force myself to push through each session. I’m grateful for the experience though, because¬†your practice will never reach higher levels until you put yourself out there, and test your own limits. I hope you enjoy these yoga shots and perhaps they will inspire you to continue practicing and break through your own barriers, whether they be mental or physical. Have Faith in Yourself

It’s so easy to second guess ourselves, or think we aren’t good enough to accomplish something. But these thoughts do not serve us, they deter us from striving to reach our goals, they hold us back from becoming something better. I’m currently working on a couple of projects that have really tested me, and have shown me how important it is to have faith in ourselves. It took me 26 years to believe that I was actually capable of achieving great things. We truly are meant to have an amazing life but that will never happen unless we become vulnerable, and allow ourselves to truly be who we are at our core. I always wanted to have a blog where I could share parts of my life, my journey, my travels etc. and inspire others. But it took me a year to actually launch it… An entire year of questioning and doubting myself. I realize now that it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks of you. YOU have to love yourself and believe in yourself, …

Love is a Practice

Love is a daily practice, a journey…¬†It’s not without darkness, but we must be thankful for the darkness, for without it we could not define the light. Don’t let your troubles, your pains, become an excuse to hurt others, whether passively or actively. Use your vulnerability instead as a way to go deeper into the choice of love. Do your best to radiate on a high frequency of love and kindness no matter what the situation. There are always things to be grateful for, and always lessons to be learned. Send love to everyone you know, to everyone you meet, to all living beings. This love will be drawn back to you. We always have a choice. I choose love. Namaste, Molly xo __________ “If you love a flower, don’t pick it up. Because if you pick it up it dies and ceases to be what you love. So if you love a flower, let it be. Love is not about possession. Love is about appreciation.” – Osho

Change Your Thoughts Audiobook Picture

Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life

The last year and a half has been one full of self-discovery and self-acceptance. Throughout this time, I listened to many audiobooks to aid me in my spiritual journey, but none affected me quite like the late Wayne Dyer’s “Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life”. This book is a translation of the 81 verses of the Tao Te Ching or The Great Way, written 2500 years ago by a “God-realized being”, Lao-tzu. Now, without getting into religion, I will say that I am a spiritual person but I do not engage in any religious practices. I will quote the Dalai Lama here and say “I have no religion, my religion is kindness”. I guess you could say that’s why this book touched me deeply. It is about living the Tao: spreading kindness, compassion, love and most importantly, letting go of ego. Wayne Dyer spent a full year reviewing hundreds of translations of the Tao Te Ching and wrote an essay for each one of the 81 verses. The book is meant to provide guidance and …
