Tulum, Mexico

Good morning loves! <3 It’s been a few weeks since we arrived home from Tulum and I wanted to share with you some of my favourite photos from our trip! Our experience in Tulum wasn’t perfect by any means… we had quite a few hiccups and some challenging moments. But all in all, I’m so grateful to have gone through those moments with some absolutely beautiful souls. Remember that in life, everything is perspective. Sometimes our expectations are not met completely… and that is totally fine. We have to learn to flow with life and take each moment as it is. That’s why it’s so important to surround yourself with positive, loving people. I hope you enjoy the photos! And if you plan on visiting Tulum anytime soon and would like some tips, feel free to shoot me an email. 🙂 I hope you have a beautiful week! Sending lots of love. Yoga Inspiration from Tulum, Mexico

Good morning! <3 I truly hope you’re all doing well and are excited for the beautiful things to come in the last quarter of 2017! I personally love this time of year… For me, it feels like a new beginning. Autumn is almost upon us, the air is fresh and crisp, the kids are back to school… It’s quite a nostalgic time really. 🙂 Irek and I arrived home from Mexico last week and are still getting back into the groove and finding our way back into our daily ‘routines’! I’m so grateful that we got to spend some quality time with our good friends, Amy and Carlo, in Tulum… and although the trip didn’t go exactly as planned, we bonded on a much deeper level and to me, that is worth so much more than a ‘perfect’ vacation with no hiccups or obstacles. I plan on writing a blog post soon dedicated to our Tulum trip where I’ll share some tips and tricks to help you if you do plan on visiting the area… But …

Cabo Pool Views

Recently, Irek and I spent a few days in Mexico at Hotel Marquis Los Cabos. It’s situated in the most beautiful location, with gorgeous, sweeping views of the coast. At night time, we left our balcony door wide open so we could hear the waves crashing aggressively, and with intention against the shoreline of the Pacific. The time will soon come where I’ll fall asleep to the sound of the waves breaking every night… and that for me, will be ultimate joy. I had some truly beautiful moments at Hotel Marquis, walking along the shore all alone, not a soul in sight. There is something to be said about the energy you feel when you’re close to the ocean. It’s electric really, but only if you allow it to wash over you. I feel most vulnerable when I’m walking alone along the coast, but vulnerable in the best way possible. It’s good for the soul and more healing than any medicine you could ever be prescribed. Thank you so much to Hotel Marquis for hosting …

One&Only Palmilla, Los Cabos

Over the past couple of years, Irek and I have traveled a fair bit, and have had the pleasure of visiting many beautiful hotels around the world. Most recently, we spent a few magical nights at One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico. We’ve been to Mexico a few times now, but never to the Pacific side, only the Caribbean, so we really didn’t know what to expect. To say that Cabo took our breath away would be an understatement; it’s truly something else. The first night we arrived, we were both speechless and fully prepared to soak in every moment of our time at One&Only. This hotel is without a doubt the most beautiful I’ve ever visited. Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, but it also has a very intimate, romantic vibe (1200 candles are lit every night all around the property!). It’s located on The Baja Peninsula, and has views of both the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. The hotel was built in 1956 by Don Abelardo Rodriguez, the son of the president, and started out …

Caribbean Yoga Snaps

Since arriving home from Mexico a couple weeks ago, Irek and I have been in hibernation mode. It’s been very rainy and dull in BC – we’ve only had a day or two of sun, if that! Definitely not our favourite kind of weather for exploring, although I should try a bit harder to embrace the rain… without it, our province wouldn’t be as lush and beautiful as it is! That being said, I am excited to head to Bali in a couple weeks. It’s been almost two years since we first visited the island – it’s such a magical place. For now though, I thought I’d share some yoga snaps from our time in the Caribbean! Have a beautiful week, sending love!! Villa Del Palmar Cancun

I’ve been in love with Mexico for many years now… It’s the first place Irek and I ever travelled to together, so it holds a very special place in my heart. We just recently spent a week in beautiful Playa Mujeres at Villa Del Palmar Cancun for October Wellness month. Below are some highlights… The Grounds; The grounds at Villa Del Palmar were beautiful. There is nothing like tropical vegetation in my opinion- so luscious and colourful! The resort has 5 swimming pools, 4 restaurants and 6 bars- so lots of variety! There are also many activities you can participate in… from volleyball, to kayaking, to paddle boarding, to fitness and yoga classes! It’s the perfect place to bring the family as the options really are endless. The Beach; The beaches in Mexico are absolutely stunning– it’s one of the reasons why I love the country so much. Villa Del Palmar‘s beach was no exception… the white sand was so soft and gorgeous! We spent most of our time there and I managed to fit in quite a few beach yoga …
