Four Seasons Costa Rica

Discovering Costa Rica With Four Seasons

Looking back on my time in Costa Rica, I have to say, it was one of the most amazing travel experiences I’ve had. The country is more nature than anything else. It’s raw, organic, and beautiful beyond words. The week we visited was one of the last weeks of the dry season and we actually experienced one of the first heavy rains since December 16th! We were told one of the best times to visit the country (although it’s beautiful all year round) is in December, nearing the end of the wet season. Everything is lush, green and plentiful… We’ll definitely be heading back later this year or early 2018. 🙂 During our first week in Costa Rica, we stayed at the lovely Four Seasons Resort at Peninsula Papagayo, which is located on the north Pacific coast, in the northwest province of Guanacaste. The hotel has 2 beautiful beaches on either side, one facing the sunrise, and one the sunset. In the mornings, from your room, you can hear the Howler monkeys making their morning calls to …

Exploring Whistler with Nita Lake Lodge

A couple weeks ago we spent some time at Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler. To be honest, I fell in love the second we stepped foot on the property. Okay… so that could have had something to do with the three overwhelmingly gorgeous golden retrievers sprawled out in the middle of the lobby! I can’t think of a more perfect welcome. 🙂  Since the hotel is pet friendly, they have many neighbourhood pups who hang out and greet people as they’re checking in, while their parents are enjoying a few cocktails at the lounge… So adorable!! <3 Nita Lake Lodge has a very relaxed, tranquil atmosphere. I felt like any tension I was carrying dissipated immediately, even just within the first few minutes of being there… I’m already dreaming of how lovely it will be to spend some time there in the summer. It’s actually the only hotel on a lake in Whistler, so it’s the place to be in the warmer months if you’re into kayaking and supping etc! Irek and I will for sure head back in July or August for a few nights. 🙂 We had some …

Why I love Vancouver

There are so many reasons why I love Vancouver. The people, the energy, the fresh mountain air, the fact that we have the largest coastal temperate rainforest in the world, the proximity to the Pacific Ocean… need I say more? That’s why it’s always such a pleasure when our friends visit and we have the opportunity to show them around, while at the same time renewing our love for this beautiful, lush province. Irek and I spent last week with fellow Travel Bloggers and Hawaii natives, Reid and Maryrose of Wanderlustyle Travel and Lifestyle Blog. They visited Canada for the first time with their globe trotting 10 year old son Landon (who happens to be the coolest, most relaxed kid I’ve met). We were also reunited with two very special people, Kim and Phil (Love Over Blood, The Vegan Artists Collective) who we first met in Bali last year… I loved them from the very first second. On their first full day in Vancouver, we headed to a few must-sees in the area: Capilano Suspension Bridge, Lighthouse Park, and The Cleveland Dam. The weather was exactly what you’d …

Cabo Pool Views

Recently, Irek and I spent a few days in Mexico at Hotel Marquis Los Cabos. It’s situated in the most beautiful location, with gorgeous, sweeping views of the coast. At night time, we left our balcony door wide open so we could hear the waves crashing aggressively, and with intention against the shoreline of the Pacific. The time will soon come where I’ll fall asleep to the sound of the waves breaking every night… and that for me, will be ultimate joy. I had some truly beautiful moments at Hotel Marquis, walking along the shore all alone, not a soul in sight. There is something to be said about the energy you feel when you’re close to the ocean. It’s electric really, but only if you allow it to wash over you. I feel most vulnerable when I’m walking alone along the coast, but vulnerable in the best way possible. It’s good for the soul and more healing than any medicine you could ever be prescribed. Thank you so much to Hotel Marquis for hosting …

One&Only Palmilla, Los Cabos

Over the past couple of years, Irek and I have traveled a fair bit, and have had the pleasure of visiting many beautiful hotels around the world. Most recently, we spent a few magical nights at One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico. We’ve been to Mexico a few times now, but never to the Pacific side, only the Caribbean, so we really didn’t know what to expect. To say that Cabo took our breath away would be an understatement; it’s truly something else. The first night we arrived, we were both speechless and fully prepared to soak in every moment of our time at One&Only. This hotel is without a doubt the most beautiful I’ve ever visited. Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, but it also has a very intimate, romantic vibe (1200 candles are lit every night all around the property!). It’s located on The Baja Peninsula, and has views of both the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. The hotel was built in 1956 by Don Abelardo Rodriguez, the son of the president, and started out …

The Mulia Resort Bali

A Love Letter to The Mulia Resort, Bali

I fell head over heels in love with The Mulia Resort in Nusa Dua, Bali. It will now be the standard to which I hold every hotel we visit in the future. The Mulia took into account every little detail and transformed our Bali experience to a whole other level… It was pure magic. The Grounds; The thing about Bali is that everywhere you look is more beautiful than the next. This most definitely rings true when thinking back to our time at The Mulia Resort. The decor was luxurious and extravagant and the grounds themselves were like nothing we’ve ever seen. The Mulia has won multiple awards in the past (including #1 beach resort in the world in 2014 – see here for full list of awards). It’s most definitely worthy of taking up some space on your vision boards… Accommodations; Our room at The Mulia was gorgeous. I loved the colour scheme and design; it really created a feeling of serenity and warmth. The first night we arrived the weather wasn’t in our favour, but I’m actually glad for that …

The Westin Resort, Bali

Last week I was invited to The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali to participate in the most beautiful yoga event. The event was in support of UNICEF and was focused on raising money to support children in Indonesia, enabling them access to clean drinking water. The session was led by Wellness Specialist, Jitendra Pokhriyal, who I thought did an incredible job in bringing over 200 participants to a peaceful and loving state. It was an honour to participate in the event and meet so many lovely individuals. Once the yoga event was over, Irek and I spent a couple days exploring the area and seeing what Nusa Dua has to offer. The beaches are absolutely stunning and there is a beautiful walking path right in front of The Westin that stretches quite far- it was perfect for a morning jog. We also were able to experience a couples massage at The Heavenly Spa (which was exactly what we needed after 26 hours of travel time to Bali)! The massages were truly lovely- Irek and I both left feeling super refreshed and rejuvenated. The highlight …

Bali Bliss

Irek and I just spent a week in Bali, and it was lovely. The island has such an incredible energy– the people are kind, the food is delicious, and the weather is smoking hot (just how we like it)! The first couple of days we stayed in Seminyak at The Colony Hotel. The Colony is a small boutique hotel about 30 minutes or so from the airport. I believe it has only 20 rooms- which gives it such an intimate and private vibe. We loved it and will definitely stay there again! A huge thank you to The Colony Hotel and The Asia Collective for hosting us. 🙂 I hope everyone is having a beautiful week, sending lots of love and light your way! Stay tuned for more posts from Bali coming soon… Cheers, Molly xx __________ “Let the beauty we love be what we do.” – Rumi

Villa Del Palmar Cancun

I’ve been in love with Mexico for many years now… It’s the first place Irek and I ever travelled to together, so it holds a very special place in my heart. We just recently spent a week in beautiful Playa Mujeres at Villa Del Palmar Cancun for October Wellness month. Below are some highlights… The Grounds; The grounds at Villa Del Palmar were beautiful. There is nothing like tropical vegetation in my opinion- so luscious and colourful! The resort has 5 swimming pools, 4 restaurants and 6 bars- so lots of variety! There are also many activities you can participate in… from volleyball, to kayaking, to paddle boarding, to fitness and yoga classes! It’s the perfect place to bring the family as the options really are endless. The Beach; The beaches in Mexico are absolutely stunning– it’s one of the reasons why I love the country so much. Villa Del Palmar‘s beach was no exception… the white sand was so soft and gorgeous! We spent most of our time there and I managed to fit in quite a few beach yoga …

Carillon Miami Beach

I have only ever transited though Miami, but never spent any length of time there. I think it will now be a regular destination for Irek and I as we absolutely loved the vibe and of course, the heat! We had the most amazing stay at Carillon Miami Beach… I can confidently say that it’s within my top 5 favourite hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Below are some highlights from our time in Miami… The Grounds; The grounds at Carillon were stunning. There were beautifully manicured gardens and palm trees everywhere, tons of lounge areas, and incredible views of the ocean from almost every angle. The hotel is situated right on the beach, and there is a lovely walking path right in front that stretches along the entire strip. Pool Area; There are two beautiful pools at Carillon, both of which overlook the ocean. It’s the perfect place to soak up the sun, listen to an audiobook and just chill out. Irek and I spent most of our time lounging by the pool and cooling down (it took us …
